After visiting the magnificent Burj Khalifa, a taxi ride took us to Souk Madinat Jumeirah, an indoor Arabian marketplace in Jumeirah. This is a great place to shop, window-shop, or simply browse. The area is filled with a variety of stores, including those selling traditional Arab clothing, antiques, souvenirs, and eateries. The ice cream shop there is certainly worth a visit, offering a few unique flavors.

There is also a spectacular amphitheater at the Souk. While there was no performance that day, it was a great place to rest our legs after a long day of sightseeing. As the evening approached, it was time for a drink at the in-house bar within the Souk, which offers fine cocktails.
