Our Dubai adventure began with a rocky start of sorts. After a layover at the Charles De Galle Airport in Paris, France, we arrived in Dubai, late in the night. This is an interesting mural at the Paris airport.

The Visa process was a breeze and we went through it quickly. We even picked up our baggage quickly. Then my wife realized that she had left a bag on the flight and went back to fetch it. (Usually such escapades are part of my domain.) She was told that they would bring it in to the lost and found area in the airport after they had boarded all the new passengers o the flight. It took another two hours for us to leave with all our stuff to the hotel.

Well, I am not sure why they call it ‘Baggage Reclaim’.
