Located in Downtown San Jose, Five Points is a trendy yet laid-back cocktail bar that is a great venue for a date night or even hanging out with buddies. There is ample comfortable seating at and around the bar area. The bar is known among locals for its expertly crafted cocktails, made with high-quality spirits, fresh ingredients, and creative flavor combinations. The menu often features classic cocktails with modern twists, as well as innovative house specialties.

The bar has live music and DJ sets on some nights. It also has a reputation for fostering a sense of community among its frequent patrons. Additionally, it hosts themed nights on different days of the week. We visited on a Tuesday, which happened to be Tequila night, and the bar offered a 50% discount on all Tequila specials.

The bartenders were skilled, courteous, and amicable. We first tried the Maestro Dobel Reposado, which was well-made and delicious. Our friendly bartender was kind enough to offer us a sample of Absinthe, which hit the spot. My final drink was an Old Fashioned with Bourbon, which made for a fitting finale. The patrons were also friendly and diverse.

I would definitely return there in a few weeks. Do give this place a try when you are in the area.
